Wtf ever happened to him? 203-18 in the amateurs, then got off to a 6-0 pro start. He looked to be making a smooth transition and could have been a spanner in the works, bringing the size along with speed & skill to hang in the HW division. Then he just...vanished. It feels like we traded down for that lump Niall Kennedy, which is...like cashing in a Porsche GT3 for a jalopy. :shakehead:

He didn't have the power or a fan friendly style to have much success.

If I recall correctly he was very injury prone and a retired because of that as well as.not being able to get the fights he wanted. Definitely better than Kennedy or Turner. He lacked power for sure but I think he had more than enough skill to at the very least trouble some of the lumbering oafs who masquerade as world class fighters today.

I mean, sure he didn't have one punch wallop to knock anybody cold, but...the same people that would call him boring (people who live and breathe the division and don't follow boxers under 200lbs) had no problem hyping up a Hughie Fury? :nusenuse:

I found Con's style far more pleasing to watch, personally.
