I know chico is madly loved, how would a 135 pound fight of Diego Corrales vs the manny Pacquiao moving up in weight when he fought thee David Diaz at lightweight? So many questions: would Manny outdo Floyd's performance which was pure perfectional beatdown. Would Diego cast a bigger punch, ? Would chico be too tall? Would Manny dazzle with footwork speed and agility? Both guys cracked. Break it down , go:!
Floyd beat Corrales by outboxing him and systematically breaking him down to the point of the KO. The Pac of the Diaz fight....just before the Delahoya fight... was not as technically skilled as Floyd, but he was a better brawler. And as we saw with the battles between Corrales and Castillo, Corrales could brawl too. I think the fight would be less technical than the Floyd-Corrales fight. It would almost certainly be a brawl that ended in the first half. My money would be on a hungry Pac. BTW, Floyd, Pac, Corrales and Diaz are all gone. Maybe this should be moved to the classic.
