Yeah, he was weight drained in this one but not weight drained in all the fights at 130 before it or after it.

Of course he was also weight drained against Casamayor in the first loss but NOT weight drained in the rematch when he won by SD at 130, which was four fights after the Mayweather loss. Am I correct?

You're thinking of Corrales/Casamayor I. His gumshield was sticking out from under his lip. Pretty nasty cut.

While I agree that he wasn't weight drained, his staying at the weight doesn't mean he wasn't weight drained that night. Maybe he blew up between camps ect. ect. But he wasn't weight drained, just tailor made for Mayweather.

He lost that fight way before he enter the ring, he knew the Marshal was waiting outside to take him to the Big House, prior to the fight his life was in a turmoil, he didn't give himself the best chance to win.

some of you guys have to be the dumbest people on earth to even bring up corrlaes's name. Don't disrespect the man by speaking abut him like that. Mayweather totally dismantled him on that night, and it was evident. Regradless of what was going on in his life at the time, in the ring that night he was blown away, that's it no shame in that but to make up excuses is lame. Corrales's father should be ashamed of himself for even mentioning this **** now. Corrales was warrior, and still is. RIP my homie!!!

The first Casamayor fight. His lip got busted open and was bleeding all over and the doctor stopped the fight.

Chico's dad needs to stop. No one was going to get stopped in that fight if anything floyd would have dropped chico a couple more times. Chico did have that mindset and proved that he can turn any fight with 1 punch, but he was getting schooled in that fight. floyd was to fresh in the later rounds to get caught also
    R.I.P. Chico

that was Corrales' worst performance ever. Credit to Floyd for a big win regardless because he still had to go out and take it but Diego just didn't show up and I understand that he continued as a JrLW after he came out of jail but he did come to the scales at 132 the first time he weighed in for the Mayweather fight. He was **** in that fight and not the elite JrLW that he looked like in his previous outings.

I still have an image of Mayweather landing a soft punch and Corrales going down almost like someone who just has no energy.

Corrales was a very good fighter, but he was simply outclassed by the best fighter of his era.

And he didn't "believe" he could still win the fight. He was fighting with no belief or intent whatsoever, by the mid-rounds. It had to be stopped, he was being punished, humiliated, and was reduced to a boxing bag.

No way in hell that Floyd Mayweather is the best fighter of his era. Not even close.

Mayweather of 130lbs was only rivaled by Roy Jones Jr. At 130 he beats seven shades of **** out of Pacquiao like it was a walk in the park.
