imagine this fight took place in 2004 after morales had just made his 130 debut in a win against jesus chavez&corrales had just had what would turn out to be his last fight at the weight in a close but clear win over joel casamayor, but what if chico had chose to stay at 130 instead of going to 135 to fight acelino freitas, had a fight against morales been made who do you think would've won?:good

Damn, warrior, you come up with good match ups man. I will go with Chico split decision in a great fight. Too bad this fight never went down.

No way Chico stops Morales. He may win a decision but Morales in his prime had a sick chin.

Morales's chin was excellent, but even chins on his level can be cracked. Or he can get stopped on his feet. It's not like Morales never got hurt. Corrales was bigger, a monster puncher, and Morales was too happy to brawl.

Morales took bombs from Pacquiao and took them fine. When he got dropped their were flash knockdowns most of the time. I think Chico wins a decision not by TKO.

Morales was rocked in the first Barrera fight and also rocked by Chavez in the first round.

I don't think Pacquiao hits as hard as Corrales. And it's also the angle. You're more likely to see a straight left hand coming. That was and remains Pac's main punch. Left hooks are more likely to catch you at a blind angle. Even great chins can be cracked, especially when you're fighting a bigger man.

Morales will be happy to engage in a brawl with Corrales which will get him knocked out. Good fight though

Really? Wow, I think he can hit harder. Well true he was hurt in the Chavez and Barrera fight but I think he can handle Chico's bombs. I think his chin is tough enough but who knows for sure. It would have been a great fight. R.I.P. Chico. :good
