Calzaghe admitted deliberately throwing a low blow in the second. I'm not sure how long you think that took to land, but the low blow that Hopkins exagerated was in the 9th (not sure how that could have been deliberate as it was a full bloodied punch heading directly for Hopkins midriff before being deflected by Hopkins own glove and brushing against his shorts) and the one he completely faked was in the 11th.

HE got hit in the nuts each time. Fact.

Calzaghe admitted to throwing low blows. Fact.

    Deal with it.

From what I've read as soon as Oscar got in the ring, he realized it was a mistake to be fighting Hopkins. Keep in mind that Oscar was a former super-featherweight, fighting a guy who currently resides at light-heavy. I think Oscar probably did give it a go, then decided to quit when the opportunity arose. And I don't blame him.

I'm still trying to figure out what that gay-ass **** was all about. I saw that and was just like WTF???

Like did he think simulated butt****ing of a dude he was punching in the nads make him look like a badass or something?

He went down squealing like a girl when a deflected punch brushed his shorts and then pulled a dive even Cortez couldn't overlook it (though he didn't call it a knockdown as he should have done). Fact.

So bitter so long after the event :rofl

:yep. Only because Hopkins instigated it with all that hugging. There was no assault here, they both had a secret love affair.

Nobody's bitter about anything. Just pointing out the truth; that Calzaghe ADMITTED cheating and punching at 'Nard's nads. Soft as he may hit, he is still a pro boxer and getting punched by Calzage in the dick would probably put most anyone down.

Did I mention that Calzaghe ADMITTED punching nads?

Another post, another concrete sign of your complete ignorance of this sport.

You don't understand that height does not correspond to natural size or a size disadvantage.

Arguably the second best cruiserweight champion ever, Dwight Muhammad Qawi, was 5 feet 5 inches tall.

Arguably the best super-featherweight champion ever, Alexis Arguello, was 5 feet 10 inches tall.

Height has no direct correlation to natural size in a boxing sense.

So you can drop this lamentable argument that Hopkins feasted on smaller men purely because he was 6ft 1in (same height as former welterweight champion Paul Williams I might add).

Hopkins was a natural mw who regularly weighed in under the 160lbs limit throughout his mw title reign.

The more you resist these simple truths, the more of a hate-filled imbecile you appear. :good

He didn't go down from the deliberate low blow though unless, as you appear to be suggesting, it took about 30 minutes to actually register. You seem very confused.

I might find it easier to believe that the other low blows were accidental if Calzaghe didn't admit to throwing intentional low blows. Regardless, you get punched in the dick, even by a relative pillowfist like Calzaghe, you're not going to be a happy camper.

you were the one quoting their heights...hagler was a more natural or less depending on how you look at it than hopkins. He packed a lot of muscle on-hagler compared to hopkins who was a vegetarian and had other ways of being able to consistently fight at middle. Its no surprise that he was talking about possibly moving to cruiserweight. Anyway , you thought tarver beat Jones in their first fight-----for that, i cant talk to you

Let's drop the low-blow chat dudes, it's off-topic, ancient history, boring and irrelevant.
