Calzaghe admitted deliberately throwing a low blow in the second. I'm not sure how long you think that took to land, but the low blow that Hopkins exagerated was in the 9th (not sure how that could have been deliberate as it was a full bloodied punch heading directly for Hopkins midriff before being deflected by Hopkins own glove and brushing against his shorts) and the one he completely faked was in the 11th.

 

HE got hit in the nuts each time. Fact.

From what I've read as soon as Oscar got in the ring, he realized it was a mistake to be fighting Hopkins. Keep in mind that Oscar was a former super-featherweight, fighting a guy who currently resides at light-heavy. I think Oscar probably did give it a go, then decided to quit when the opportunity arose. And I don't blame him.

I might find it easier to believe that the other low blows were accidental if Calzaghe didn't admit to throwing intentional low blows. Regardless, you get punched in the dick, even by a relative pillowfist like Calzaghe, you're not going to be a happy camper.

 

you were the one quoting their heights...hagler was a more natural or less depending on how you look at it than hopkins. He packed a lot of muscle on-hagler compared to hopkins who was a vegetarian and had other ways of being able to consistently fight at middle.
