Absolutely no correlation. Rigo doesn't stare at any of his opponents prior to fighting, he just focuses on the fight itself. Watch his previous 11 fights, it's the same thing. I was surprised so many people were putting stock into the pre-fight staredown! Anyways, it's all history now. Props to Rigo for a great performance.

But Rigondeaux was scared, remember?? He didn't make eye contact, so he had to be AFRAID! No, the man is just a professional who lets his fists do the talking. War Rigondeaux!!!

Rigo didn't make eye contact! He has a paper chin! Donaire's left hook is unstoppable!

Weigh-ins don't mean ****. Ward looked scared in the Kessler weigh in.

This. Couldn't believe people were putting so much stock into the pre-fight staredown. Remember Nonito trying to clown Rigo with the whole "I"m taller than you" thing, as well as the "look into my eye" thing? Well, Rigo certainly looked into Nonito's eye all night and busted it up! Now THAT's letting your hands do the talking. Master performance.

He felt sympathy for how Donaire's face would look post-fight.
