Well that's it, in a nutshell! A veteran Sanders beat Wlad and gave Vitali all he could handle. Ortiz got ko''d twice by a hype job.

At their respective bests, Sanders showed more and beat better men than Wilder, something which Ortiz ultimately failed to do.

    Stop that :D

Well one of them is getting counted out or at least a TKO. I think it would be competitive until someone gets tagged hard.
I lean toward Sanders stopping Ortiz mid rounds.

I don’t think this one would go the distance that’s for sure.

I'll take Sanders. In a battle of punchers it comes down to who can land first and better. Sanders was heavier handed, more accurate and a faster puncher. While I wouldn't write Ortiz off, I think Sanders gets to him and finishes him more often than not.

You got that right. I was so dissappointed with the shape he came into the Vitali fight. Biggest fight of his career and came in the ring out of shape. I feel he had all the tools to win that night.

It's crazy how often that is the case. Buster Douglas, Rahman, Andy Ruiz... all came in too overweight after winning their titles.

It's the difference between the great and the good. Didications, self preservation, continual improvement.

Ruiz could have been in like to fight Usyk or Fury if he'd been AJ x2. Looks like his career ends with a whimper. Shame I like his style.
