Michael Sprott who fought both said "corrie had way way more punching power its was supernatural power joshua hits hard but nothing like corrie"
If a barroom brawler like Whyte could rock Joshua then I don't see why Sanders couldn't have done the same and even KO him.
Czyz was a decent fighter who put up a spirited performance against Holyfield right before Sanders whipped him. Cooper was a tough and decorated trialhorse and a former title challenger, stopping a man of his caliber so easily is nothing to scoff at. On what basis are Morrison and Ruddock better than Corrie? Tommy fought to a draw against Purrity in a fight in which he was dropped. Corrie shut out Purrity and outboxed him 120-108. Ruddock has a better resume but it's not worlds apart. Corrie was a hairs breath away from stopping Rahman, a top contender who went on to upset Lennox Lewis. Corrie was no joke.
Points well taken. Thanks for supplying a fact based argument, it refreshing on this board. But I consider both Purity and Sanders C level from overall career performance not from handpicked individual fights. Sanders was a journeymen, nothing special.
Guess you better keep reading this thread because your starting to get owned by people that know boxing. Joshua has talent, but he's slower than Christmas and at this stage of his career, Corrie would expose him. KO 1 or 2.
prime sanders would be a good matchup for Joshua now, a proper test for josh to step into contention. however old shot retired sanders that easily killed prime wlad in mere seconds, would get overwhelmed by AJ after a few rounds.
yeh cos sprott said exactly the words that fit your kliturd agenda, funnily enough, he just happened to compare Joshua to a dead nobody he had fought, yeh not.
