If sanders can strike fast early on then shavers is in trouble. But if this one goes on a bit then shavers has a good chance. All depends as well on condition of both men. But it's definitely not going to point s!

Please don't judge rats by Herol. There are some honest, hard-working and cute rats out there that try hard to make a decent living. For real.
Sanders more often than not. Can't rule Shavers out by any stretch, but I would consider it an upset if he won. Corrie was better along with being a bigger southpaw with faster hands. He was a bit of a frontrunner as his career wore on, but I don't think Shavers is the one to exploit that.
Andy Ruiz Jr has fast hands.. Does he beat Shavers? Shannon Briggs was faster than Sanders .. Does he beat Shavers too? Its like Sanders was the only guy EVER to throw a fast punch. He had speed but it wasn't anywhere close to ATG level speed Loads of guys had speed and were better boxers than Sanders. The Shavers of the Holmes fights destroys Sanders.Who did Sanders ever beat.. WHO? That Holmes version of Shavers was a lot better than Rahman and Tubbs. I like Sanders , he was a great human but fanatics with agendas like you make people post negative things about him. Appreciate him for what he was , not for what he wan't.
Agreed. Shavers' chin and stamina were no better than Sanders'. In fact one could argue that at points it even looked worse. Both of these men are capable of finishing the other early but I have to lean towards the guy with faster hands, better skill, and wingspan to land first.
Ken Norton had faster hands , better combinations , better jab, better defence and was a much better boxer. Corrie Sanders had no jab , no defence , no stamina and was a lesser boxer in every way.
A better proposition would be, " show me a fight where Sanders gassed inside of five. " But nevertheless I'll play along. In the one and only time in 89 fights where Shavers went past 12, he was facing an aged opponent who five months later would lose to Leon Spinks. Furthermore there wasn't any of this " still coming on strong" crap. Both those guys were exhausted in that 15th round, mostly clinching and winging shots that were often missing. The round starts at the 52:36 mark below. This content is protected
Sanders spark burnt out after 5 rounds against Purrity. His work rate dropped and his power dropped , he was lucky he had such an atrocious boxer like Purrity in there with him. Shaver was still giving it more in 15th round than Sanders ever did late in a 12 rounder. He gave prime hard to catch Holmes hell for 12 rounds straight. . Shavers had the better gas tank. Sanders had no gas tank at all.
I gave you the fight on film which clearly shows two exhausted men trying to barely survive the rounds and your only response is to reference a 12 round fight that Sanders WON to make your case? Ok.. And BTW Shavers didn't give Holmes "hell" in that first fight. In fact it's doubtful that Earnie even took a single round in that bout. Ok well judge Dave Moretti gave him the tenth.. That's about it.
One of those men was Ali... Sanders was knackered after FIVE ROUNDS against phuckin Ross Purrity. It took 15 rounds of war for them to be tired . It only took Sanders 5 against a woeful journeyman who barely threw a punch. Can you not see the massive gap in levels here??
I can see the massive gap in knowledge about their careers between you and I. Ross Purity was a fringe contender in his prime when Sanders SOUNDLY outboxed him to a 12 round decision. Ali was five months away from losing to Leon Spinks and had arguably been given gifts against Norton and Young when Shavers managed to linger in there with him for one of the precious few occasions he ever went beyond 10. Can we talk about how Shavers gassed in five rounds against Lyle? Or how about wearing out in his 14th professional fight against Ron Stander at the same stage when Corrie was proving that he could go 10 and win fights? I'll meet you half way and agree that neither of these guys were the poster boy for chin and stamina but for anyone to argue steadfastly that one DEFINITELY had more than the other and to use the examples you're giving is preposterous.
