    Machimana at 42 I don't even count. He got beaten by Vitali (a h2h monster) when he was 38 and Rahman (who KO'd Lewis)
    after an awful camp - and afer nearly KOing Hasim in turn. His only really bad loss is Tubbs, and even there he was clowning Tubbs before getting stopped. If one bad loss defines a fighter, then guys like Dempsey (to pluck a name at random ;) ) are in deep, deep doodoo.

    Sanders fought a lot of supposedly elusive guys and always beat them. Body punching and speed worked in his favour. That said, I grant that Tunney is a class above the rest. He is also, however, rather small. So, pros and cons.

    How many LHW fighters can we legitimately favour over Sanders?

    His handspeed is a real threat to anyone smaller than him.
