Lol :D Nelson was NEVER on Sanders level. Not surprised Corrie tuned him up over the distance.

Corrie was fun to watch. I'd have liked to see him take on some other glass cannons like Morrison, Maskaev or Grant.

Im surprised Rahman survived him and stopped him. Boxing is a weird sport. If the fight never happened I would say Sanders all day.

IMO that was the best Rahman looked, he took some bombs from Sanders and his chin held up. I would think Corrie did just about everything better than Maskaev, but I guess Oleg just had Rahman's number.

I've searched high and low for the fight but without success. Nelson / Sanders seems to be a unicorn and yet I've found even more obscure Sanders fights lurking around. Nelson did write up an entertaining bit about it, though. I'll see if I can find it.

''Corrie Sanders was the most rounded fighter I’ve ever got in the ring with; the most skilled. You go to throw a jab, he slips and throws a southpaw left hand and you think, ‘Where the hell did that come from?’ Because I was fast and a defensive fighter, I didn’t really get hurt. He was hard to pin down as a heavyweight.

''Overall Sanders was very good. He was fast and he was sharp. Remember, I got in there with a heavyweight who was up-and-coming. You didn’t appreciate how fast he was for a heavyweight until you were there in front of him. He looked so easy to hit and that’s the mistake [Wladimir] Klitschko made.

Sanders just had that great timing and the speed to really take advantage of it
