Pre coke Dokes was obviously the better boxer but his chin was always suspect. Either Saunders finishes this early or Dikes comfortably on points. Thoughts?

Sanders wins. Yes, that's how it's spelt.

Dokes like Sanders had great hand speed. But Dokes didn't hit as hard, not was he as durable. I'd pick Sanders.

Dokes by decision. Known for his hands and had very underrated toughness.

Sanders ko. Also I'm not sure if Dokes actually was the better boxer.

Sanders had a fluke win against wlad and did very little else. He was knocked out by hasim Rahman while in his prime. Dokes has an actual resume at heavyweight. My money would be on dokes

What is this resume you speak of? A worst ever type of premature stoppage win and draw against Weaver and wins over Ocasio and Cobb? A lost 3/4 Young?

I'll take Sanders' resume any day.

Sanders has nothing beyond a fluke early stoppage win over wlad which historically speaking is about as significant as Ruiz' win over Anthony Joshua at this point. Beyond that he has losses to vitali and Rahman. Am I missing something here?

You don’t seem to understand the definition of fluke. Corrie went out and kicked Wlad’s ass as intended. Wlad waived the rematch because it was not a fluke.

A fluke would be having the ref jump in ridiculously early when Dokes fought Weaver, causing the ref’s career to be terminated.

Both were better than their records. But Sanders actually did put it together for a night against a serious threat, whereas Dokes never really did. This would put Sanders’ resume ahead. It’s pointless arguing if Purrity or Cobb was better when one guy has that ATG win.

Before the drugs ruined him, I will take Dokes any day of the week over Sanders.

Idk. Premature as it was Weaver was taking bombs and throwing nothing back for a while. Sure looked like it was going to end up very similar to Sanders wlad. Wlad vvSanders wlad had not hit his peak yet got caught a bad shot early and got finished. I'm he beats Sanders 99 times out of 100 which is why I say the outcome wasa fluke just like I believe Lewis McCall or Lewis Rahman was.

Don't get me wrong Corrie Sanders was a nice fighter but I feel he gets a lot more credit than he deserves for one good round against a guy who now has multiple examples of getting caught by lesser fighters
