Marciano has one good win over an opponent in the heavyweight class, which is the ancient Louis. Thats it.
One win. Plus Louis in his prime was 200lb. And you are accusing Sanders to achieve one win  What a joke.
You´d notice that Sanders fought big strong man, and Marciano did not?
Rocky would not fight a devision averaging 215lb, so this fight would never happen. If Rocky tries, he gets beaten to a pulb, because it´s indeed very unfair to let the 183lb man giving away 45 pound in boxing.

Is dogmatic braindead weightclass denial still spreading over the board?

    This is not true though.

None of the men who Marciano fought were protected by a cruiser weight limit.

They all fought in an unlimited weight class, and and were up against anything that could be fielded against them in the world.

What they personally weighted, and the fact that the lower limit of the division was set at ta lower point, has absolutely no bearing upon this.
I don't care how many big strong men he fought.

Do you think that you couldn't have found a bunch of 230lb stiffs in Marciano's era, and matched him against them?

Size is nothing, unless it is backed by some sort of class.
Here you are trying to compare them based on what you think might have happened, in fights that never took place, and ignore the results of the fights that actually took place.

It is a beautiful day for a fight! You goat, are a ****ing idiot. You speak the words of an ignorant child. Absolutely no concept of the sport of boxing. You are the Bobby Czyz of the forum world. Everything you say is a joke and proves the petulant unqualified silver spoon cretin you are.

Sanders wouldnt get a shot at the title during the normal run of things, but lets say he was gifted a shot, he gets koed in 5.

Thats prime Corrie. If you meant the retired shot Corrie who with ease destroyed prime wlad in seconds, then obviously he kos Marciano in round 1 given how much he had improved as a boxer by retiring and taking up golf.

Want to blow off some steam, eat some peasized hearts out of chests, kiddo? https://news.g2a.com/features/top-10-games-to-let-off-steam/

For the fun, this board IS FULL of pea-sized brains fapping in nostalgic hero-land, where the little Moores, Marcianos, Conns and Charlses whoop Bowes, Lewis, Tysons, Joshuas and Klitschkos. Maybe get some there?

The only arguments have been size, The Big men were unable to compete in the Marciano era, the Big guys all lost to the 5"11 & under club. 6"3 Valdez lost 2X to Moore, 5"10 Johnson & 5"10 Satterfield, Bob Baker was also KO'd by the same men

guys like 6'4 Alejandro Lavorante,6"3 James Parker,6"2 Heinz Neuhaus, 6"2 Johnny Arthur, 6'3Big Cat Williams, 6'2Clerance Henry, 6'2Embrell Davidson,6'3 Alberto Lovell, 6"4 Abel Cestac thats just a few

this was a different era pre-weights and just an era of skill. Even the great Muhamid Ali had trouble with the likes of Doug Jones 188lbs * Henrey Cooper 185lbs, & the 5"10 205lb Joe Frazier FOTC

today is a different era of Superheavyweights who come out of that division from the amatuers but even so only Lennox Lewis,George Foreman, Vlad Klitschko, maybe Vitali & Bowe have emerged as Great or very good

The 50's were dominated by the under 5"11 giant killers and I dont think Sanders would be consistant enough to get to a title shot. Sanders was a dangerous guy though and would have some wins but also some KO losses like he did to Nate Tubbs

Rocky was a nice little fighter who did well for what the good Lord gave him. But let's not get over our skis here. Stay in your lane, Marcianistas.

Agreed. It is unfortunate Marciano haters love to make unfair threads pitting him in vs superheavyweights with power and speed

The Al Cole win was better than those. Purity was also winning all of his fights at the time when Sanders beat him (Purity was at the same level as Morrison at the time).

Unfortunately we have a new wave of boxing fans, who have an almost monomaniacal obsession with size!

There was a time when this sport was about comparing boxing, not comparing physical dimensions.

Pretty much the only qualification for being picked over Marciano, in some peoples eyes, is weighing more than 220lbs!

I mean if it was that easy, don't you think that they would have found such a man, and taught him how to box?
