I dunno when prime Corrie Sanders was but whenever that version existed, we will match him up w/ the WBC champion version of Frank Bruno. Who wins?
Well let's see. The version that lost to Rahman: What was that? Prime? Under-prepared? Sore toe? I've heard so many excuses that I don't know what to make of Sanders, save to say that he is an awkward south-paw with a powerful left. Bruno is the more proven fighter obviously, but could the golfer take him a few rounds, land a left and then stop him on the ropes? Maybe. I'm betting on Bruno's power to score a KO early however... in this match where no money can be lost. Edit: Bruno learned to hold on at this stage. Yup, that seals it.
Bruno barely made it to the final bell. That being said I would still go with Bruno. Sanders was not good enough to get him out of there early enough and never had the stamina to press the action late in a fight even against that horrible version of Bruno. Bruno by early stoppage or decision.
Bruno by clear decision or late stoppage. Different levels, and Bruno became more.....well, as aforementioned, he started remembering to clinch!
