Been watching some of their fights lately and wondering how a fight between the two of them in their primes would play out.

Sanders had quicker hands with single shots, particularly the straight left. Morrison's combos were quicker and more fluid. The Tubbs fight makes Sanders look chinny, while the Vitali fight makes his chin look great. It was probably in the middle, an okay chin. Morrison had a weak chin. Neither guy had the best stamina, but Morrison did have some mid-to-late round stoppages in tough fights, and went 12 against Foreman while using his legs a lot.

Morrison showed some real issues with the southpaw styles of Vaulin and Hipp. Does Sanders get him out of there early? Does Morrison survive the early storm and stop Sanders later? Morrison rose from knockdowns and being hurt numerous times to win...even stopping Hipp with a broken jaw and broken hand, which is pretty insane.

How does this fight play out?

Southpaw with that kind of handspeed is going to be real tough for Tommy. I see no possible way his defense avoids that straight left down the pipe. Corrie also had a real nice right hook in there--if you're watching some of those early bouts you see it time to time. Not often, but it's a nasty punch when he throws it.

I think the upright style and height advantage of Sanders has Tommy caught walking in. and he'll never see the punch.

He never really fought low or out of a crouch enough. Always like 3/4 crouch or straight up and not low.

Fight does not go 4 rounds. No way. Tommy's defense see's him clipped before that. And Sanders work ethic would see him caught with a big hook when he stands around waiting for the receipt or just plain standing around like he did. Exciting fight & I wish it would have happened.

Sanders I think gets him out quickly as Morrison lacked defense and had major issues with South Paws.

I would weigh in on the side of Sanders. Range, speed, fluidity are on his side. He puts his punches together better. And in Waldo, he KO'd someone leagues above Morrison's best KO victim. And this one is ending in a KO.

Sanders ko 1. Morrison's management would want no part of this.
