This I agree with. Wilder has a lot of heart and despite all that I say about him, he was ready to go out on his shield vs Fury. If Sanders doesn't get him early (my guess is he would, but as everything here, it's just a guess) then Wilder could be very dangerous once he dials in that bomb of a right hand.
That was his blessing and his curse. He was fearless in the ring ... but he could also be lackadaisical. Like, whatever happens is cool, man.
The angriest I remember him was against Sprott when Sprott showboated and managed to clip him a good one. Sanders was steaming LOL
Since we're talking about it This content is protected Edit: terrible referee btw. He would definitely have counted Fury out LOL.
Nice, not seen that one before either Look at the speed of that combination at the 3:00 mark culminating in that short uppercut which rocked Hart's head back Corrie could hurt you badly with a right uppercut from the Southpaw stance too Timestamped This content is protected The Tuscaloser wouldn't have made it out of that first round like Hart did of that I'm very sure. Too fast, both with single shots and combinations, too powerful, again with both single shots and combinations, and too skillful and clever. Corrie knew how to set things up and he could box on the back foot and walk you into beautiful counters or walk you down and take you out. In short, he knew how to fight, The Tuscaloser doesn't. FTR, Hart lasted the 8 round distance against Tua the previous year
A prime and focused Saunders would do a number on Wilder. His speed and power would result in a tko before the 5th round.
