Who would better handle the early onslaughts of both fighters until their stamina gives them out?

Is Zhang durable enough to withstand Sanders' handspeed/firepower for about 3-4 rounds? If so, I think he could stop Sanders in around 5-8.

Big Bang might have a shallower gas tank than even The Sniper.

I would pay a lot of money to see this fight. The big question is the over/under on number of rounds.

Sanders all the way for me. He is much faster and more accurate than Zhang and I think he'd find the mark first. I'd say that Zhang might have more heft with the right punch (Sanders was more of a snappy puncher) but Sanders is more likely to land the right punch. Also, Corrie's gas tank was way better than Zhang's. Even old fat Corrie was still trying to win in the 8th after taking a shellacking against Vitali. A younger version of Sanders could go all night.

    Zhang by early KO.

Sanders is kind of a small heavyweight for nowadays, and I think people really underestimate what a 60lb weight advantage means and, lord knows, Sanders was no defensive wizard... ... ... ... ... ...

For those who might think, "Hold on a minute, there is a fine example of a smaller Heavyweight beating larger ones out there, right now...", Sanders is no Usyk. They fight nothing alike so, it's not like we can consider Sanders as some kind of modern-day giant killer.

I mean, yeah, Sanders beat Wlad - but Wlad was an eggshell-chinned work in progress who hadn't yet fully transitioned to and perfected his 'Jabber Grabber Klingon' methodology. Moreover, Wlad was 40 English Pounds smaller than Zhang. (So, Zhang beats Wlad too... ...obviously!!)

Sanders was also quite used to overpowering much smaller opposition like Johnny Nelson, George Stevens, Carlos De Leon and James Pritchard. Take Sean Hart, for example, who was a fat cruiser and fluctuated in weight depending on how much of that loose lard he was piling on at the time. Even then, Hart was microbial by modern heavyweight standards and Sanders had more than a 20lbs weight advantage on even the plumped up version of Hart. It clearly showed in the way that Sanders was able to make Hart respect his power.

Now imagine the mighty Big Bang Zhang with three times that advantage in weight over Sanders.

    Bottom line...
Zhang is a New Age Super Heavyweight.
    Too big, too powerful.

    Zhang W TKO 2

    (Oh... ...the... ...I-Ron-Knee!)

Sanders has the best win of the two, but Zhang has more class wins, and thus far has only lost to other top fighters.

I am leaning towards Zhang, but no money is going down.

Not that I would care to bet against either mans power.

Sanders moves his hands better but Zhang is too physical and a better boxer. I think he could take some of Sanders' shots and hurt him back while Sanders was vulnerable. Corrie was hell on wheels when he put his punches together though, and that straight left was a great shot. I would bet on Zhang, though. I'm thinking Zhang would get it done how Rahman did. Durability and finding power punches. Idk if I'd call Sanders at 6'4" 238 a small heavyweight either

Was 238 Sanders' career average weight?

Corrie sanders was Chinny and his defensive was leaky. Against an iron chined power puncher, that’s a recipe for disaster.
