Corrie Sanders who beat Wlad in 2003. Would same Sanders do it again to current 2014 Wlad?

No, 2014 Wlad toys with Sanders just like he did with Pulev.

He could, but highly unlikely. Even with Wlad having lost a step his approach is completely different nowadays since Steward learned him fight US style defensively.

A fast counterpunching southpaw with devastating KO power is probably the least favoured style for wlad to fight against, so imo Sanders could possibly still KO the wlad of 2014. I dont think he would though. Not only has wlad improved his defensive skills in the meantime, he also would approach a Sanders fight with a different attitude and a lot more caution. Back then he thought he could pressure the guy and blow him out of there, not heeding the counters. Now he knows that doesnt work well.

I dont see a puncher like sanders in the current division right now. Sneaky Fast and Devasting left hand puncher with size to boot. Alot more disguised than wilder throwing wildy like an amateur.

I think prime Wlad or Wlad even now would beat Sanders. Sanders does have a punchers chance and a style to give Wlad problems but Wlad is a very different fighter now. He isn't there to be countered like before, he won't engage, he'll make Sanders come to him. I'd expect Wlad to be ultra cautious like in the Haye fight and to win on points or a late stoppage if Sanders really begins to gas.

Wlad is much more careful than back then. He'd win a late TKO against that Sanders.

Everybody said Sultan was going to be that puncher.....before the fight of course.

Than everybody said Haye was going to be that puncher.....before the fight of course.

I think Povetkin is an excellent puncher and better overall than Sanders.

I would favor prime Wlad of course, but Sanders would always have a chance. He made Vitaly do a backward unicycle move. The guy had some serious power.

    Gets knocked out again.

Wlad is still the same, he just excessively bear hugs and thats not going to protect him when Sanders is sniping him from the outside.

Yes. He still flinches at oncoming fire. He can dish it out, but, he will never be able to take it from a true puncher who attacks him.

Probably not, but he would have the highest chance out of all the current contenders
