The armed robbers were young (one was 19), and weren't even shooting at him directly. If you're going to execute someone, you don't shoot him in the hand and stomach. This was a robbery gone wrong, they got caught and now awaiting trial.

No. This is some ridiculous idea suggested by HerolGimp.

The idea is silly but if they were there strictly to kill Sanders they would have shot him more times and make sure he was dead. Sanders lived for hours after being shot. He might have lived if the new and improved South African hospital system wasn't so incompetent in treating him.

If Sanders actually came to the fight in shape then he has a decent chance of catching Wladamir with something and stopping him. Higher than a punchers chance, but Corrie isn't durable himself so he would have to have a bit of luck.
