absolute prime wlad ran in fear from shot2**** retired corrie for a good reason, because he would be destroyed instantly by his punches once again.

against the faded wlad, shot2**** retuired corrie stops him even sooner, probably within half a round.

Wlad gets stopped again. Anyone with power and the stones to come after Wlad like Sanders did has a very strong chance to beat Wlad. There's just nobody like that in the division currently, so it's a moot point.

m simply repeating what actually happened.

Why does that burn you? - repeating actual events rather than specualtion?

It doesn't burn me Wlad lost fair and square. No excuses from me.

Why does it burn you that Wlad has gone on to be a great champion and ATG?

That fight played a vital role in creating the unbeatable, outstanding champion Wlad is today. It was a great night for Corrie, but in the long run a great night for Wladimir as well.
Unfortunately, Corrie will be remembered in history as a footnote in the Wladimir Klitschko story. Wladimir will be discussed as a top 3, 2 or 1 ATG heavyweight.
....and no, of course 2003 Corrie Sanders doesnt beat the 10 year undefeated, mature and nearly unbeatable 2014 Wladimir

It is amazing that no matter how many people Wlad beats and completely independent of the type of performance, you get the usual clown brigade repeating the same rubbish over and over for like the last 10 years. Yes, I am talking about you Raider Ruby, HerolGee, HitBattousai, LavelleFuxwell etc etc.

Ask yourself these questions and answer honestly. Can Wlad take the punch of Corrie Sanders? Has he fought anyone since that loss who possesses the combination of power/hand speed/skill/willingness to engage that Sanders possesses? To me, the answer to those questions is no so the result is fairly obvious.

This is not hating on Wlad. He's a great fighter regardless. But he is one who is great mostly by comparison with the weakness of the division over the past eight years or so. I simply don't see him stacking up with a lot of the ATG heavies or the likes of Corrie Sanders.

David Haye has as good or better hand speed, more skil, and a darn good punch as well. Look at what happened when he sprang forward with quick shots suddenly. Its the exact strategy Corrie used in the first place, is it not? But the more experienced Wladimir was much more aware and cautious of this sort of attack.
IMO, the Haye fight is a good bit more difficult than the Sanders fight. Well, probably equal at first, but Corrie fades so bad after 3 rounds where as Haye got very defensive for the most part.
