Corrie Sanders who KO'ed Wlad. Would he do same to 2014 Wlad?

Not a chance. Wlad would NEVER walk right into a counter L again, especially as he's become so tentative with the lead R.

Wlad would catch Sanders in the 3rd, after 2 especially boring rds of them circling to gain position for lead or counter, and hugging/wrestling between jabs.
in the 3rd, Wlad would catch Sanders preparing to lunge, throw the patented L hook, and Sanders would be fuzzy eyed and out.:think

Against pulev, we witnessed wlad jump in with clinches, just based on pulevs size and one or two counter jabs. This also made wlad hesitate whle jabbing, so he pawed excessively with the right. He looked very nervous while doing it, and this actually made him open to counters. Pulev just didnt have the "athleticism" (Speed and power)to do what sanders did. Sure wlad knocked out pulev, but there were obvious flaws at display here.

People often forget, that sanders also had vitaly doing a litlle dance and connected on him several times, if vitaly wasnt blessed with an iron chin, sanders might well have had 2 klitschkos on his resume, but vitaly is iron chinned and doenst have that problem.

Sanders had no problem landing on either brother, if they fought again, he´d land again and on both. One brother would take it, while the other would buckle. Sanders is all wrong for wlad. wlads best punch is the jab, its an awesome one, but sanders money punch is the straight left - THE PERFECT COUNTER - for a southpaw facing an orthodox fighter..

and last but not least, sanders had a very good size, wlad didnt dwarf him, so wlad wouldnt have the luxury of being in range, while the other isnt. Sanders would be in range, the second wlad throws.

Not this topic, but this is also why i have lewis beating wlad all day every day. Minus the southpaw thing ;)

If a well trained and motivated sanders showed up, id have him beating wlad 7/8 outta 10, as wlad does posses some serious power

Good points about Vitali and Sanders. But that was Vitali fighting ANGRY, and ALLOWING himself to taste Sanders SNIPING.

No chance in HELL Wlad lets himself get in range of that CL.....no chance.

He'd potshot and grapple until Sanders got desperate than catch him with his own hook. GAME OVER.:think

Aside from his vastly greater ring experience and generalship, Wlad's shots now are much heavier than Sanders and his jab a work of art. It took several massive punches and headbutt and Wlad stuill got up in 03, unlike Pulev who had a much better record than Sanders two weeks ago.

He has a big punch, but he is so safety first conscious he puts the crowd to sleep. It takes him 10 rds to kayo a guy Tyson would kayo in 5 rds or less. Everytime his name is mentioned it is always prefaced with "he may clinch alot, doesn't have an exciting style, fights very defensive & has a weak chin or doesn't take risks. It's like watching Barry Bonds bunt on his first 4 at bats.

Wlad would fight Corrie a lot smarter being cautious and looking to counter easily KO'ing Sanders in 5-6 rounds. He'd KO a lot more difficult guys than Sanders at this point. He'd ruin prime Tyson as well.

Sanders was a hell of a natural talent. Anything could happen. But Wlad's defense is 3,000 times better than it was then. I see Wlad breaking him down over long boring fight

This Wlad would break him down for a late stoppage because he'd box more conservatively and respect what was coming back at him.

Sanders was always a dangerous front runner so there's always the chance for an upset.
