Corrupt IBF Allow Fat Solis To Keep Belt Despite Ducking Leif "SOT" Larsen

The IBF are a disgrace. Solis ducked out of a defence of his IBF Inter-Continental title against the greatest all-round athlete of all time, Leif "Son of Thor" Larsen.

You would think after a shameful duck like this, the IBF would strip Solis of his belt and allow Larsen to fight for the vacant title. And that's what they did.

However, after much begging and grovelling the IBF have given Solis his title back and he will now defend it against Adamek. What an absolute disgrace.

I hope the IBF mandate Adamek to defend his title against Larsen when he dispatches of Solis's gluttonous bulk.

Leif "SOT" Larsen cannot be denied his place in the IBF rankings. If he landed on Wlad's glass jaw - goodbye. :deal

Larsen committed some unacceptable crimes that I cannot condone, however he has served his time and should be allowed to compete.

The IBF has ranked criminals before, just like all sanctioning bodies. What about convicted roid cheat Vitali Klitschko? Are you saying he should be stripped of his belt?

 

He has a fight scheduled for Friday, which was originally meant to be against Solis for an IBF trinket.

It was the actions of Solis that led to the fight being called off, and the IBF allowed him to get away with it. Leif's crimes had nothing to do with it.

 

If you examine the facts, Larsen's crimes were not as serious as pretty much everyone has made out.

I cannot condone his actions, and he deserved to be punished, but please don't make sweeping statements unless you know the facts of the case.

 

Larsen is the greatest all-round athlete of all time. Nobody in the world can handle his power.

 

Of course taking anabolic steroids is a crime. Stop making excuses for him.

I haven't made any excuses for Larsen's behaviour. He has served his time and should be allowed to compete, just like Vitali has served his drugs ban.

 

If you don't want to support his career, that's your problem. This thread isn't about that.

Regardless of his crimes - the facts are these: Larsen is one of the hardest hitters of all time, was blatantly ducked by Solis who has also denied him the opportunity to fight an IBF trinket. These are facts.

Larsen watched porn with some 13 year olds, completely wrong and he deserved to be punished but let's not go overboard here.
