    I'm not denying Friday's final round was bad, and quite possibly bent.

    The point is, let's have equal fuss each time bad scoring happens or even a thread to capture them without the promotional rivalries kicking in.

    Those examples you gave were two + years ago. Also I created a thread on this one as it wasn't like close rounds were always given to the home fighter - the final round was clearly scored bearing in mind that if scored to Baluta, then McCann would have lost. That's why there were two judges scorecards on the table if you were watching.

    Has anyone asked Frank Warren about the final round? No, because he won't allow anyone to ask him questions about it.

    There was a thread by TBC about lots of Matchroom fighters failing drug tests. In the last 5 years I can only think of Benn and Baumgardner who have failed tests for Matchroom! So keep your complaints consistent.

    Didn't realise there was a statute of limitations on dodgy cards.
    The minute you exhibit signs of not being on the total defensive in favour of Matchroom, or indulge in pure whataboutery (mentioning drug testing chat in a thread about a dodgy decision) people on here will take your points seriously.

    For what it's worth Frank Warren gets an easy ride from most of the online interviewers. TalkSport people could ask him live, but they won't.

    No it wasn't. It was bad but without seeing the cards, I presume when a judge was unsure of a round or thought it was pretty even, they just gave the round to the home fighter in Smith. But this one was worse as when writing the scores down they counted them and realised that if they gave the final round to Baluta, which all 3 judges were going to do, then McCann would have lost, so they conveniently told them to score it 10-10 instead.

    But thanks to the posters for hijacking the thread.
