Do you think there is a serious concern that we could see sham decisions like the travesty of Seol 1988 when RJJ was robbed?

I know Murray has to fight a Chinese kid and this could be an issue. Apparently a Ukrainian fighter was robbed blind today, but as I have not seen the fight I cannot comment.

Did anyone see the fight today with a Ukrainian against a Chinese fighter? And if so was it a robbery?

That doesn't always matter. Bribes etc...
Have you ever seen the RJJ final in 1988 when he fought the Korean? The biggest disgrace I have seen in any sport. It has to be seen to be believed.

So nobody has seen todays fight with the Ukrainian and the Chinese guy?

Not as bad as the African games in Egypt a few years ago. Some of the Egyptian marathon runners were apparently allowed to take a short cut which knocked miless off the official route.

I haven't seen either of the fights you have alluded to but seen many amateur fights where good punches haven't been rewarded. The system is very prone to error and I've yet to see an accurate score at the end of any of these fights that falls in line with what I've seen on the TV.

I'd like to see todays fight though to have a look.

i don't know. i didn't see the fight you are talking about, but the chinese did get a couple of their fighters eliminated in the first two days...

Sergiy DEREVYANCHENKO beat Jianzheng WANG 15-6 in the middleweights
Gennady KOVALEV beat Qiong MAIMAITITUERSUN 15 - 8 in the lightwelterweights

we'll have to see what happens from the quarters onwards.

i seen the fight today and yes it was a robbery. I think unless its a clear and i mean one sided, then i don't see the chinese being knocked out.
