I wouldn't have said the one this morning was a gift because Murray was poor, but it was certainly wider than it should have been.

 

Terry Edwards has been complaining too...but really, yeah, while it should've been closer than 17-7 it was still clearly a loss. Murray just didn't get untracked.

 

I would have said about 15-12 would have been fair - an additional point given to Murray for excessive holding and running, and a few more for clean shots.

We can moan all day long about the scoring system but I would doubt that any system you could devise would have Murray the winner, including the pro system, which would have been 38-37 IMO.

Anyway, we've got the Olympics next, we can influence the judging then

It was a complete out and out disgrace, some Olympic Commission should have grown some balls and stripped the guy of his gold the very next day. I will not be surprised to see gifts being given to Chinese fighters, particularly when they have a hyped up force of Chinese spectators cheering on every blocked shot a Chinese fighter throws at someones gloves.

there have been some truly laughale scoring going on. It's some of the worst i've seen the bais to the Chinese fighters, it's a total waste of time these olympic boxing.

 

Roy Jones getting robbed was deliberate payback for several Koreans getting robbed in 84.

You almost had to knock the American out to win in that tournament.
