A Mills Lane for this one would be perfect.

 

I'd have preferred Smoger. When Floyd hurts Hatton, Smoger wouldn't stop the fight too early and there would be no doubts Hatton is KO'd.

 

I'll settle for Cortez, Nady would have been a nightmare for Hatton.

I agree this favors Hatton. He never warned Hatton for holding against Castillo and said Castillo hit low. Cortez is a joke Bayless would have been a much better choice.
The best thing about it is Hatton and his fans won't have any excuses when PBF beats Hatton's ass.:good

 

to be fair to hatton, castillo was starting a lot of those clinches when hatton was in pressuring him. the low blow decision was just a bad call, all refs make them, all boxers are on the wrong end of them at some point during their career.

 

Cortez aint bad normally. I think he did a poor jobn in Hatton/Castillo though and like fighters, I tend to judge refs on their most recent performances so Im not sure...

Bayless or Caiz would be my choice. Not very good but not bad either.
