    Maidana deserved his points deduction.

Make no mistake, Khan could have won every round of that fight and stayed out trouble had he wanted to, but his macho instincts and a desire to prove the doubters wrong took over somewhat and lead to him getting a little ragged at times in there.

The breaking was a little ridiculous. But the point deduction was deserved, that's just nasty.

To the topic, when was the last time Joe Cortez was actually good?

Cortez has seen better days, but it was an awkward fight that was difficult to officiate. The two fighters got tangled up often and Maidana wasn't exactly willing to break cleanly.

Whatever Khan did last night the TS would be bitching today. Get off Khan's dick and admit you were horribly wrong. Your obsession with Khan is as pathetic as your opinions on boxing.

Cortez shoud not have been breaking them up when Maidana had a hand free. Even the HBO guys were saying this. Cortez saved Khan from further punishment, especially in the 10th where Khan only had to grab onto Maidana's right arm and Cortez would come to the rescue.

Cortez is a terrible ref. The worst ,he has ruined many a nights boxing and has proved to have double standards. Like when he ****ed the ricky Hatton and mayweather fight up by pulling them apart and not letting Ricky Hatton engage in the inside and then Joe .C vs Hopkins let Hopkins wrestle, head butt, fake a low blow and let him fight in the inside. Double standards FACT.

From time to time many refs will demonstrate favortism towards one fighter during a fight.

But Cortez is always leans towards one fighter. He is disgraceful.

LEts start by saying I think Marquez could beat Khan any day. But if I was Cortez MAidana would have lost more than one point. I think Cortez was too nice to him. Elbows, headbutts, Punches behind the head, holding and hitting, etc.... it was too much
