    Cortez did alright last night and remember it's always a tough fight to ref when Hopkins or even Hatton are fighting. I agree you don't want people to hold all night and I'm glad he broke it up.

    I totally agree with you he is a disgrace to the sport along with jay nady the boxing world will be a better place when these two **** off and ref their last fight.Wouldn't it be great if the ruling boxing authorities hauled him up and do the right thing and demote him so he can never be in charge of such important fights again but for some reason I can't see that happening :lol: can you?

    I'll agree w/ you on that manfredo fight was a total lack of quality refreeing, the ref almost pissed his pants in front of 55,000 ppl and stopped the fight as soon as calzaghe landed a few good shots...Im not sayin one way or the other but Cortez does not do consistent work from one fight to the other...
