I have some money on spinks in a 7 fight parlay

he is fighting Verno Phillips

according to the oddsmakers he has 80% chance of winning

he already has a title and is probably the best fighter at 154 along with Alcine and Dzinziruk

 

Spinks should win easy as Verno looks to be shot. Anything could happen though since he just dropped his manager less than a week before his fight. I could see him being a contender at 160, with his defensive mastery and all, but I would rather see him and Forrest go at it at 154

 

i think he could get a title at 160, right now i think he should go for it challenge one of the belt holders at 160 although i seriously doubt that will happen. Nobody wants to fight him style wise and business wise

That mother****er is fighting tonight. He will most likely win by UD, not many people care and rightfully so. Seems like a nice enough guy, though prone to getting a tad over-emotional. Would like to see him fight Pavlik but i can't explain why.

like you said its pretty much a sure thing, the only reasons the odds are even that good is he is coming off a 10 month layoff. If i had some insider information about his training camp i would've bet even more on him.

 

I wish Spinks could make it back to WW. I want to see him beat Floyd.
