They dont drink, they dont gamble, they dont smoke, a lot of stuff that can get people in trouble they dont seem to do and Ive taken that lead and I think thats helped me a lot. It's nice to see some role models for youngsters thinking about picking up the gloves or the rugby ball.
What is interesting is all of Khoders deals are done by handshake and by word......one thing is for sure....that is rare in the business and boxing worlds.....love them or hate them they are true to the deal
Ditto, QUOTE: “They don’t drink, they don’t gamble, they don’t smoke. If that's the case why don't they all **** off to a different planet and live.
**** this poof talk, bring on Gealzaghe. Mt Annan boxer Daniel Geale preparing for fight of his life This content is protected MT Annan boxer Daniel Geale (pictured) is preparing for the fight, and the biggest purse, of his life. The former Tasmanian’s camp has settled on a deal that will see him challenge IBF world middleweight champion Sebastian Sylvester, of Germany, for his crown. The bout has been scheduled for May 7 at the Jahnsport Stadium in Neubrandenburg, Germany. If successful, the 30-year-old Australian will sit alongside such luminaries as Marvin Haggler, Bernard Hopkins, Arthur Abraham and Roy Jones Jr as the 10th person to wear the belt. Geale acknowledges this will be the greatest challenge in his career so far, but he’s both mentally and physically ready. He earned the right to challenge after felling Russian Roman “Made in Hell” Karmazin in a world title eliminator bout at the State Sports Centre, Sydney, in late October. It’s common thought that taking a world title off a German champion on German soil is impossible - Danny Green and Anthony Mundine both fell short in the past - but Geale’s style is to let his fists do the talking.
I think the handshake thing is no good, classic example is Johnny Lewis and KT. It really needs to be in writing and everything above board, accounted for etc If Geal wins in Germany i rekon he will be a pretty big name and if Mundine doesnt fight him if he gets past Woods we will all know he is running scared of Geale, i thought it was a close fight and Geale deserved a rematch, soliman got 3 so why not 1 for Geale? It will be funny because Geale will have a bit of sway in the negotiations as he would hold a title and Mundine would not.
****OFF! Ask Rob Medley who I imagine is still shaking his head at the 'true to the deal' ethos your trotting out Ash when he was suppossed to fight Mundine - an agreement and deal and true to their word at 154lbs!!! What a load of ****ing tosh!
They make it sound Mundine (and Khoders troop) is the only athlete that doesnt drink and gamble. Lots of athletes dont. And no manner of praise will make me think different of Nasser. He is a slimy weasel and there's enough evidence of that...
