No one forced you to read or post in it.

    Trust in boxing is important.

They won't ever drunkenly post on a forum like you did about your marriage. How can you criticise athletes for not falling prey to drink, gambling or smoking.

    :-(

    WBF or WBA/IBO?

    Changed your avatar?

Stalking and obsessing in another one of my mundine threads?

Clown, keep trying to bury your shame.

I have to disagree with you, I think you have to trust your corner and management especially in a sport like boxing and I think the concept of a handshake deal is a great one. However, I agree that in reality they don't always work and over here Frank warren said last year he was gonna make sure he always has a contract with his fighters and never rely on their word.

If Geale wins a world title belt (not a WBF) I think it would depend on what mundine's ambition is at 154 as to what happens with a rematch. Who wouldn't want to watch mundine beat geale again though?

Sergio Martinez is also a great example for aspiring boxers. Khoder does what's best for his clients which is his job. It's a sad state of affairs when "boxing fans" are more concerned with management and promoters instead of fights and fighters.

    Ask brendan fevola.

Ask Brendan fevola??? What a stupid response, because someone doesn't drink or gamble doesn't make them a better athlete or some sort of a god, I know athletes that drink and gamble, what they do in their downtime is their business.

You say it's a sad state when fans are more concerned about fights and fighters, do you believe people like medley and woods are a worthy fight for a "3 time world champion" I have never seen a comment from you other than when mundine fights, do you support any real fighters??

Fevola is a prime example of a bad sporting role model due to his drinking and gambling.

Top athletes should put everything into their jobs considering how much money they earn and it is the business of the fans.

Really? Of course it makes them a better athlete, Ricky Hatton is a prime example of an athlete who did himself no favours, he was a great athlete but he was ridiculous in his downtime and and there is no way it didn't have an effect on his sporting prowess if he was in shape he would use a training camp to work on his boxing instead of as a glorified fat camp.

Medley was supposed to be Choc's first foray into the 154 division until the IBO messed everyone about. Wood earned his shot and took it after he was taken lightly.

If you want my views on any other fighters feel free to ask. :good

I knew that post of mine would start some spirited debate

When the deal went bad with the IBO the point in getting down to 154 for a title shot was mute.....why would choc get down to 154 for nothing?

The deal changed when the IBO pulled the title...the title fight was off.....the whole fight could have been canceled at that stage...however...

Tell me, did Rob still get paid his full World title purse...even though it was not a title shot?

Also correct me if Im wrong it was also Robs biggest payday even though hes been in 2 other world title shots?

Great money for a non world title shot :deal

Plainly my new avatar upsets you even more than the previous one Limp-Wrist- Louie. Though admittedly you did ***** & moan repeatedly about the previous one.

...and meanwhile, 20a87, the attention seeking French photographer continues to Troll the ESB boxing forum in the forlorn hope of acceptance.

Don't patronise me with your stupid deflection points Ash. 90% of the above has nothing to do with the one facts are facts and as you quote - "love them or hate them they are true to the deal".

Well fact is, 6 odd days out from the fight agreed too for 154lbs, they pulled out and changed the terms to suit themselves, not Medley and increased it to 160lbs. That is the fact, end of.

You and your stupid what Medley got paid rubbish is incidental, you specifically said above that they are true to the deal, well they ****ing weren't.

Stop being Khoder's bull**** machine, you just make yourself look a right dick.

Kerry Packer used to joke that he had Alan Bond as his stooge. Guess what, Khoder's got his with you in spades...

Good point TC, ohh that's right, Alan 'Ashley' Bond forgot to recall that Khoder wanted his own judges and not IBO sanctioned ones...

Rules for IBO world title fights state their judges, ohh but Khoder and BOXA wanted their own. Is that not being 'true to the deal' in which they agreed in the first place to conduct it as a world-title sanctioned fight Ash?
