last night. In fact that fight was fairly entertaining. He did well. He definitely wasnt running, he stayed in the pocket quite a bit and was letting off combinations at times. Good fight. Good win.

    Good job Cory Spinks!

I heard some people saying he was forced to be more aggressive becuz he has lost a great deal of his reflexis. Is thier any truth to that?

Could be, he definitely wasnt on his bicycle. He stayed in the pocket quite a bit and was even coming forward and pressing lattimore after the 5th round.

I was shocked and found myself cheering for him after the 5th round. I usually dont cheer for the guy because he's always crying and running in fights.

Spinks is a boring fighter with no power. I had forgotten that he knocked down Glass Jaw Zab Judah. How embarrassing.

I feel asleep in the 6th round but you are right it was not a regular boring Spinks fight I think that had a lot to do with his opponent being aggressive and not Spinks.

LOL...So did I. BUT I was tired as hell. Didn't know who won 'til this morning.

One thing I noticed early though, was the "Home" crowd was BOOOOOOO'ing the **** out of Spinks as he came in, and after the 1st round his trainer was saying: "BOX this dude!! **** all this **** (as he pointed around the crowd)!!"

IMO, that prolly lit Spinks fires a bit too.

    Good win.

It was a okay fight. The knock down was kind of funny how his leg stretched out and then he fell. His reflexes are shot and he will lose to a good fighter if he don't get his **** together. The other kid was just too wild. He could be a champ if someone else trains him right. He called out PBF and I thought that was funny.

I don't think Cory has a problem besides ring rust and general inactivity. I'm glad he is back at 154 and I think it would benefit him more if he could make 147 with no ill effects. I don't think Cory is shot yet.

He was the first fighter to beat Jermaine Taylor.
