Spinks is supposed to make a mandatory defense against Cornelius "K9" Bundrage (29-4), but Spinks is so out of shape that trainer Kevin Cunningham quit in disgust and promoter Don King is planning to move the fight off March 6, perhaps to March 27, to give him more time to get ready.

How out of shape do you have to be for your trainer to "quit in disgust"?

Someone made a thread earlier where he claimed Spinks was a little over 200 lbs and that's why his trainer quit..

The thread said something like 205 or 208 if I'm not mistaken. I'm not sure though and I can't be ****ed to go back and check.

That's some sad ****. I wonder what's going on in his life to make him lose his dedication to the sport. Spinks always was in peak condition. I've always thought the guy was an exceptional talent. What a waste.
