Hey guys, who else thinks that cory spinks has maybe the best and cleanest boxing skills P4P out there, i think a lot of boxing fans out there have him underrated.

who do you guys see as a better boxer than him in the jr. middleweight, -middleweight, devision?

    he's average. Always has been.

Now he's past his best too so below average by titleholder standards.

Spinks is vastly underrated because of his loss to Judah. I thought he was too big for 147, and he looks better at 154.

You know what i thought was ****ed up? Spinks beat Judah, Judah gets a rematch, Judah wins and then everyone's happy to just forget about Spinks for a while.

If Judah got a rematch then Spinks should have got one.

He was a very good fighter in his prime. And accomplished a lot too so his talent wasn't wasted.

Past it now yet still a player at '54.

Very good technical fighter hard to hit fast hands. I think he could be or atleast a few years ago could have given Maywheather a very difficult fight. I'm not saying I would want to watch that but I think unless Maywheather hurts him and stops him it would be close.

Very skilled fighter, personally I like watching him operate.

Back when a SPinks v. Mayweather fight was being discussed, and derided, I liked the idea b/c I think SPinks has the style, size, and skills to give Mayweather a run and possibly beat him.

his fight against latimore was very close and exciting, and i think he showed a lot of will and heart in that fight, and also still proved that he is still in the game.

i thought it would have been a great fight with him and prettyboy floyd on a very high techncal level.

and another guy im looking forward to follow is Devon alexander who is in the same gym as cory, got very similar style

I'd actually favor Cory in a rematch, right now - though it's unlikely. 147 is too low for him and too high for Zab; and 140 or 154 is too ridiculous an advantage for either guy.

He is underrated. He gets a stupid amount of unwarranted hate, p4p probably more than anybody else in the game. People who hate on Spinks' style but then praise Haye's performance over Valuev are the epitome of hypocrisy.

Especially when you consider that like John Ruiz, Spinks has gone through a late-career reinvention and turned into a pretty exciting scrapper, more out of necessity than anything else, as his legs are pretty well gone (see: the Phillips and Latimore fights). He's handled the adjustment with aplomb and is still a useful boxer even being less mobile.

Spinks - Judah 3. would be a good fight, and i think the winner should get a last title chance..
boths are top fighters and one of the best one a good day .
