yes. We don't have any sponsors so we have to pay for all our own travel and hotel. It's gotten really expensive, considering there is no one in my weight in the entire state.

Headgear, I recommend Fight Gear, I think it's about $50, can't really remember.

Mouthguard, I like the Brain pad lo-pro (double mouth guard) I think it's around $12

    Headgear..around $40/$50

    Gloves..around $30/$50

    Mouthpiece..around $10/$20

I think that's the avarage price range for cheap gear...

Does anyone know of any good double mouthpeices that don't make breathing harder? Not much air goes through my nose these days and last time I sparred with the double guard I have now I was feeling lightheaded after just a round or two... I don't think its a good brand though so I'm hoping another one might be better.

If you plan on competing you need to get headgear that is USA Boxing approved.

    $50 isnt bad.
Make sure that you check the quality and that you know what your buying.
Go to your local boxing gym.
For quality stuff , you can pay alot more than $50.
