Evidently 'The Eraser' injured his bicep in training and he will need several months to heal. Bummer. That was a good fight. Israel says he wants Romero to defend against next. On the plus side, Romero has a big name and career full of great wins (Weidman, Brunson, Rockhold, Kennedy, Jacare), but on the downside, he has lost to Costa and Whittaker (x2) recently, and missed weight twice. Cannonier is an option; wins over Branch, Hermansson, and Silva, but less known, and was perceived to need 1 more win before a shot. Gastelum rematch would be dank if he beats Till, especially with a finish. What do you guys want to see?

I think Cannonier myself. The only other option is Romero but he clearly lost last fight against Costa and has already had 2 title shots (one interim) where he missed weight. That should NOT be rewarded.
Mad respect for Romero who was unlucky not to be UFC champ against Whittaker but he's lost 3 of his last 4,even if they were close fights against top opposition and needs at least 1 win before he gets a title shot,imo with Gastelum losing it has to be Cannonier or Whitaker for Adesanya next. It's not an excuse but I don't believe 16 months away helped Whitaker and the facts are,he hadn't lost since 2014 when he was a welterweight and he beat the current top choice Romero twice.
How is Romero unlucky to not be champ against Whittaker, Romero didn't even ****ing make weight for the fight
