Conditioning won't matter against Silva. Cote won't make it far enough for conditioning to play a role.

I like Cote, but last night was not a great showing. Cote barely squeeked by in that fight and couldn't really figure out Almeida out.

Silva's far too much for Cote at this point.

Picking Cote makes sense. If Silva wins, no one holds your prediction against you since it's Anderson Silva for God's sake, he beats everyone.
But, if Cote does happen to KO Silva (and don't say it's impossible - very improbable yes), then you look like a genius for predicting the major upset.

I won't like for a genius because Cote is québécois, like me:D
but what i'm sure of, thats gonna be the toughest war of Silva on his feet:deal
Cote is gonna test that chin!!!

Hey, it's obvious your rooting on your hometown boy and there's nothing wrong with that.
And I actually hope Cote does end up landing something that will test Silva's chin. The problem is that someone like Chris Leben had, in theory, enough power to test Silva's chin and we all remember what happened there. It's much easier said than done.

it's ok to cheer for your local boys and say they have great things ahead but i really think, judging from his recent performace, that he is lighyears away from silva at this point. these is just no facet in his game that he could use an advantage against silva

People have been saying he'll fight Kampman for the title shot and picking Kampman to beat him, for some reason. After seeing how easily Mcfedrieds hit Kampman I'm not sold on his chances AT ALL. This would be a much more exciting throwdown style fight than last night's so I hope it does happen.
