Cotto 11 months, Canelo 10 months out the ring before next May fight!

Man i dont like it! I totally wanted to see both guys before they fought each other on non ppv fights! Plus the world wanted to too! I think they both thought, and there teams, on how much this fight is gonna make and dont want to risk it. For Cotto i get hes excuses. He wont have Freddie Roach the whole time if he was to fight dec 13 so thats a good excuses. Canelo probably just wants a breather which is fine or whatever. Just would've been way more hyped if they both would've won fights on regular HBO.

Cotto has been out this long Canelo has not. both are professionals so it shouldnt take away from fight. The only problem for Canelo is that he went from a stand still punching bag in Angulo, to a superb boxer in Lara now to a fighter which hes never seen before. somebody that can box, best body puncher hes ever faced, strongest fighter he ever faced, good luck to Canelo! Clottey wouldnt have shown that but Canelo would've had to try to break thru some defense which he might have to with Cotto because Cotto defense looked right his last 2 fights.
