Quillen, Lee, Murray and GGG are all world class fighters, I'd say. Beyond that, not a very good division. Cotto wins tomorrow by mid rds tko.
He agree'd because he was comfortable making weight. Cotto and his team were desperate to find an opponent. They were even considering K9 as an opponent until Geale stepped up. It's really that simple. Geale could of came in at 160 today without any consequence from the WBC but didn't.
He's the b-side in this fight and he works as a fighter for a living. So when the a-side (cotto) said, "157 or fvck off" Geale smiled and said, "...sure."
they started this CW BS and now the so-called A-side fighters are making a mockery of the original weight classes, titles, etc.
You simply cannot argue against any of it. Geale COULD of made 160 today without any penalty from the WBC. What, Cotto was gonna drop a day before the fight in the eve of the Puerto Rican Day parade in NY? That's just stupid.
Daniel Geale is not a scumbag from the ghettos of America. If he contracted to make weight, he'll make weight even if he has to kill himself to do it. Accordingly he did so. Yes, he could've tried being a cunt like a Broner or a Mayweather and reneged on the agreement, but guess what? he isn't one.
Wtf does that have to do with anything? Lmfao.. I think you're losing the plot there, pal. It he wanted to make 160, he could. But he didn't.
Not when he has contracted to make 157, he's a man of his word not a scumbag who will renege on an agreement. Why doesn't this enter your cranium? Yeah I know, because you have an agenda, and I'm done wasting time talking.
He was only contracted by Cotto and his team without ANY penalty, not the WBC. Again, for the 5th time... If he wanted to come at 160, he could of. But he didn't.
We all know why Geale agreed to be terminated. Because his career is finished anyway after the 3g pasting, and this fight is his last chance to some moneys. This is his last payday. He would have agreed to a 147 lbs catchweight, too. He looked like he couldn't even keep his eyes open during the weigh in. Totally wasted. Cotto already won... via catchweight.
You're a very level headed poster But I gotta disagree Quillin and Lee barely make the cut I'm not sure they even do Murray doesn't imo though he is tough as nails
