    Exactly. And if Wlad Klitschko had to fight for the belt, at 157, Cotto would beat him too.

    Cotto is the most legendary fighter of all time. No man 160 and up can beat him, for the wbc belt, at 157 pounds.

    Cotto hasn't been a welterweight for a long time and even struggled to continue to make weight in the past. He's a legit JR middlweight.

    How do you know? I doubt it's without penalty if it's in the contract, otherwise Geale wouldn't even bother with it. So the only thing stopping Geale from coming in at the full weight he's entitled to is his word. :lol: If he's that dumb then, the beatdown Cotto dishes out would be well deserved.

    Lee is not world a world class fighter He was losing until the highlight reel Ko and was lucky that Quillin Style is made for Him. He was koed by Chavez Jr and Even Brian Vera, Lee is a good fighter but not World class.

    No they didn't. Plenty of fighters were fighting at CWs before Mayweather or Pacquiao did.

    true, but if the 2 best fighters of the last decade didn't start this sh!t , Canelo, Cotto and others wouldn't follow it, and at least part of the fans would never have accepted it as right

    if Floyd and Pac jumped off a bridge, others would sure as hell follow their example

    I think you're overrating Cotto here. The man got his prime beaten out of him by concrete hands Margarito back in 2008.

    The fact that he's still competing at this level is really something to behold.

    I like Cotto a lot, but he's not making anything look like a joke, he's beat one Middleweight and he had one foot in retirement himself. :lol:

    Since the plaster fight, he got knocked out by a midget and should of lost to Clottey. 147 had too much talent, he moved up to 154 as a safe haven since his punch resistance is completely gone after getting hit with literal concrete for 10 rounds straight.

    We should all appreciate this legend more, what a warrior. I'm sure most men would of quit boxing after getting cheated like that.

    That doesn't make any sense. Hoya was big star, and he fought Hopkins at a CW. Trinidad fought Jones at a CW. Chavez fought Whitaker at a CW. So there have been many big names that have done this in the past. To try to blame Mayweather and Pacquiao for Cotto fighting at a CW is illogical.

    Gaele will be 167 tomorrow night and Cotto will be 153. That's a big weight difference.

    Still think Cotto takes this but perhaps Gaele will just be too big? Worth a punt imo.

    At the end of the weigh in Cotto gave Geale a pat on thr back and shook his hand feeling sorry for how he made him come in. He saw the poor defeated skeleton in fron of him and humanity set in.
