Should be a good fight, but Cotto has improved since his loss to Margarito.

His loss has made him train much harder and is more determined. He could get caught with a lucky punch, but I expect him to win. Cotto has been staggered before, remember? So, you never know, but I still give Cotto the edge.

lol if I can get Clotty at +900 I'll drop a few grand on him, imho Cotto is a 6-4 favorite at best. Clottey is a dangerous mother****er

Worth a small bet, but do not bet too much. I missed my bet in Vegas at the Red Rock Hotel/Casino, was going to bet on Mosely because the word on the street was that Margarito had not trained. I think it was 4-1 odds, just got back from Mojave desert too late to get bet in. Margarito did not train, he knows that, that's why he wants a rematch so badly. I think about the kid of money I could have made, although there were limits.

Odds are evolving based on the mathematical spread to ensure the bookies maximise their return. If most people bet on Cotto, then his odds will fall, or bokoies lose money.

Clottey will not win a decision unless he easily beats Cotto. If it's somewhat close Cotto will win the decision. Clottey needs a KO.

Even if you think Cotto will win, there is no way not to take Clottey with that spread. I would put 20 bucks on Clottey and you will get 55 plus your 20 back. That is a can't lose situation.

This is correct. I would like to put some money on Clottey but it's just one of those fights where I think I won't win. If Clottey were a big puncher then things would be different. But, he's just not the type of fighter to overwhelm his opponent so I think Miguel is safe for tonight.
