surely Roc Nation isn't THAT desperate to get a washed up Cotto. he sure as hell won't be fighting triple G now.

he has just one belt, the wbc middleweight. triple G is his mandatory with one voluntary fight at his disposal.

after Golovkin and before the Murray fight the wbc middleweight rankings were this:
    1. Martin Murray
    2. David Lemieux
    3. Jorge Sebastian Heiland
    4. Billy Joe Saunders
    5. Tureano Johnson
    6. Sergio Martinez
    7. Daniel Geale
    8. Ryota Murata
    9. Sergio Mora
    10. Willie Monroe
    11. Jonathan Gonzalez
    12. Curtis Stevens
    13. Arif Magomedov
    14. Tony Jeter
    15. Caleb Truax

but i highly doubt he fights a middleweight anyway.

Hmm... 8M for Bundrage, 24M for Golovkin, 18M for Mayorga rematch?

...a Mayorga rematch would be all Cotto's worth after being crippled by Golovkin. :conf

Don't trust the source. Roc Nation will go broke fast with these kind of contracts.

Cotto not PAC or Floyd. No one cares about him. ROC nation will be out of business in 2 years.

Jumped the gun a little, let me rephrase it to "can be bad for the sport" depending on who he faces.

Its not like he's gonna fight GGG or anything (I hope he does)

A lot of money for an undersized guy who is at higher risk fighting at and around 160 lbs. Perhaps if a Canelo match and rematch can be secured then this signing could pay some dividends, although it would still seem difficult for Roc Nation to yield a profit.

    Its just wow .

Miguel always had his haters but damn after that Martinez beatdown .

His haters has multiply like never before .

I don't get it , I heard so many people on here say things like
"Martinez don't have to be at his best to win, Cotto is still going to get destroyed "

I read so many posts about how a "Martinez with leg injurys will still be way too much for Miguel to deal with "

Now they all hoping and praying that Canelo himself ends his career when he finally meets up with Cotto :yep

No doubt! These purses are unsustainable. Especially considering how Roc Nation entered the fight game as a way to launder dirty money through a seemingly above board business venture.
