Cotto: 50 million for three fights

No idea but I feel that Cotto signed with them because they allowed him to do whatever he wants and paid him well

They are doing this to get started and have some established names under their banner

 

Actually if he can use Cotto's name for his promotion to be looked at as a serious option then it counts for a lot. I wouldn't doubt he'd happy to just break even with the Cotto deal, mission would still be accomplished.

Canelo, Floyd, Canelo II?

 

Well, after the debacle that is Floyd-Pac (boring Floyd UD) people will be starving for a real fight. And after the $100 fight door is open, Cotto Canelo at $80 a pop will look like a steal and the redemption boxing needs, fight sells a mil, and just about all of of it or more is recouped right then, if Cotto wins, Roc nation just broke onto the scene big time...they're gambling, but many times that what it takes, and he's got the money soooo...

 

I don't know man. Cotto-Canelo I and II would do some pretty big numbers...assuming they both win their next fights, and look good doing so.

 

People will definitely still buy that fight.

 

Canelo vs Cotto without a title involved is still a good fight though. Better than many title fights.
