Cotto is a tremendous body puncher but he has neglected what won his tough wins like Torres Quintana Judah Urkal

Less of a brawler more of a boxer

Hired manny steward a boxing kinda trainer a jab cross guy like Hearns Wlad Lennox and Taylor

Cotto's jab I think loses to Foreman

I feel his strategy is all wrong

I think he is trying to out box the boxer who is quicker and taller fresher and younger

I have seen little of Foreman but his wins are generally wide UD's

Cotto needs to attack the ribs early let Foreman know he is in a fight steal the crowd and he can wear him down in the big city for a TKO

if he trys to box him he'll lose a clear points decsion.

I said it after Margo and beofre and after Clottey and prior to Manny he ignores the damn body

hopefully with a good set of eyes in his corner he'll take this guy out.

steward is way better than the last guy he had but something tells me the traainer switch is a style switch and brawler to boxer before a big fight is never good

steward i would be certain is shping cotto away from his usual

its like when hatton hired Mayweahter for Pac

Yuri will probably out box Cotto. Void ran from Cotto while Pac stopped him. Void is still running from Pac.

Anyone is better than Joe. Cotto is a capable boxer when he wants to be.That's how he beat Shane, isn't it?

Foreman has not had much of a baptism under fire now a short and maybe even shop worn Cotto may not be the guy to damage Foreman seeing as he is very slick and hard to hit but Cotto if aggressive and focusing on the body has a better chance then head hunting easy to hit a big taller body then a higher faster smaller head

if emanuel trys to make cotto fight like herns or lewis hed be a fool, but emanuel steward isnt a fool, hes a hall of fame trainer who knows hes not working with a 6 foot 1 inch welter weight.
steward knows what he is working with and he will high light what made cotto a 32 and 0 fighter, from his stiff jab to his solid footwork and yes his pressure body attack.......
    (hopefully):bbb

I think Cotto was an olympian or an alternate for PR.can't rememebr which.

His uncle was a huge asset to his career.it's too bad they had a falling out the way they did.

He has abandoned being young, fresh, and carefully choosing his opponents.

I like Cotto, but that moron abondoned what he does best a long time ago which is stalk his opponents and rip to the body. If he had applied that strategy right from the get go instead of trying to box, he would've beaten the hell out of Joshua Clottey. :deal

He's not as good of a stick-and-move boxer as he thinks he is... be cause he can't stick and move! He almost always stops in order to let off his combinations. That cost him against Margarito.

I don't know, it just always pisses me off when people say that Cotto's best strategy is to box when he's clearly a better aggressor than he is a boxer.
