I dont think Cotto under Steward will ignore his previous best traits. Steward has said a few times he wants to get Cotto to doing what he had done earlier in his career, and im hoping and assuming the body work is a part of that.

As for totally changing his mindset with Steward in his corner, Steward has only said he wanted to improve Cotto's basics, such as his balance , to help him get off better combinations.

So overall i feel Cotto and Steward both know deep down they are going to have to pressure Foreman. Unless Foreman does what Mayweather did to Mosley and surprisingly take the front foot, he is going to run and run fast, so Cotto will have to bang to the body, and throw plenty of combinations to stay with the guy.
Cotto cannot outjab Foreman, arm length pretty much dictates that, but he can move his head better and work the body to outbox and break down Foreman without getting into a war.
