I know they are in different weights, but if this ever happened i reckon it would be a corker, if cotto decided to go up a few weights. What are peoples thoughts and who or how do you think the fight would go?? I'm going for Cotto, but with both men being knocked down.

Cotto cannot fight above 154. He's improving with every fight but he'll never be a defensive mastermind. You should have an excellent defense when you face a strong middleweight like Abraham. So the only logical outcome is Abraham by KO.

BTW: Abraham cannot make the middlweight limit much longer.

Somebody get this man a pint of bitter.

It is a stupid question, it is like asking how Manny would go up and fair against Cotto. He would get knocked the **** out

Listem man . . . I'm a Cotto fan too . . . but if he decides to go up "a few weights" . . . he is gonna be a dead meat. Even Gary Locket at 160 can starch him. :yep

    He spesifically said:

As in Cotto vs Abraham at 160lbs. Cotto is a a better fighter no doubt, but he is outgunned at 160 by a huge amount. A smaller weaker, pressure fighter with poor defesnce is the sort of guy that Abraham would kill.

has everyone woke up angry today?! I see what your saying, but i think Cotto would be alot tougher to beat than Miranda. Abraham looks good smacking down b-class opposition like Miranda, but if he came up against an A grade operator like Cotto, who is in my opinion P4P no1, i think he'll have a hell of a lot more problems

Cotto would be foolish to move anywhere above 154. 147 is his ideal weight.

    Abraham KO.

p4p you would be correct but at 160 Cotto is much much too small to cause Abraham many problems.

He does not hit hard enough to gain Abraham's respect and is right in range of Abrahams power shots all the time and his is open to being hit.

    He would get knocked out.
