Would have been a really good fight
Once again we were robbed of a great fight

Im suprised neithe of these guys ever mentioned each other (at least to my knowledge)

At 140 its 50/50, At 147 its Cotto

Uhh no he wasnt. He got chased around the ring by Ndou. Was made to do the chicken dance by Corley and was nearly knocked out by Torres.

Oh and he couldnt finish off feather fisted Malignaggi who had more then a few moments in their fight.

considering that cotto was hurt badly by worse fighterst 140, i'd go with hatton. it would be a great fight, but weight drained cotto gets ko'd by the hatton that fought tszyu

Very competitive match up. I'd favour Cotto.

    Nice avatar. :D

Agreed. The only version of Cotto I think Hatton beats is the version who fought Malignaggi.

    awesome question.

    im really not sure.
at 140 a prime Hatton was a monster. great durability and toughness. Whereas cotto was the complete fighter. i feel a bit shortchanged that cotto and hatton never got it on together in around 2005/2006.

Id have to slightly favour Cotto. 51% to 49%.
    would be epic though

I think the drained cotto that struggled angainst torres, and ud malignaggi would be in a 50/50 against hatton.
but cotto at his best tko's hatton IMO.

I think Cotto was drained at 140 and would be vulnerable especially at Hattons best weight.
