Cotto already making other plans (not fighting PBF)

Cotto can well say what he pleases to do. He's not in the position to call the shots against Mayweather anyway, Arum is and if he gets into an agreement with Ellerbe, Miguel has to go for it and improve his spoken english so that he can make that fight more marketable. Actually, this is one of the reasons Mayweather-Margarito would never get to be such a good business... In the same marketing line of thinking, I do not wish Mosley to pursue this fight with Mayweather b.c. such a media confrontation would damage his (Mosley's) image and Shane doesn't deserve that at this point.

 

Well i think it would be a good move for cotto and pbf. Mainly because this fight could bring more marketablily to the mayweather/cotto fight if it were to happen. Any good next fight for cotto would be a better set up for the big showdown with mayweather cotto fight. Cotto already fought to big fights in ny so he IS known, but i think camps are looking at this at a more business/marketability in the long run if this were to happen. Maybe im thinking mayweather/cotto early 09 depending when cotto has his next fight. Mayweather will take it eventually.

 

Cotto is just doing this to get more money when he does fight mayweather. That is if mayweather has the balls to fight Cotto. And dont say taht Mayweather is now the biggest attraction. We all know Oscar is. He brings in women Mexicans Puerto Ricans South Americans Americans and even some Europeans. Floyd brings in people that know him and his posee. Hatton brought almost all the fans in his last fight.

I live in a town of about 5000 people. More people in town rented the Cotto fight than the Mayweather fight. usually i hear who is all renting the fight and we go watch it and party at different houses. There is usually a lot of houses to hit on fight day. Last Saturday there was 2 houses and thats it. You know what i saw when we stopped by them?? 4 people at each one. usually its 20-30 people per house. HAHA Floyd will never be the main attraction.

 

I live in a town of about 1.2 million people, and more people getting the Mayweather fight. Considering that fight will do triple the numbers of the Cotto fight, I think more towns are like mine.
