Cotto already near fight weight! Friday, November 2 2007 World champion Miguel Cotto today weighed 151.5 pounds - far under the limit - at his seven-day safety weigh-in mandated by the World Boxing Association. Cotto weighed in before a horde of fight press during his Media Day today in Caguas, Puerto Rico. He is scheduled to leave for New York City tomorrow and wire in for his final preparations to take on Sugar Shane Mosley in a welterweight mega fight at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 10. This will be Cotto's second fight this year at Madison Square Garden. "I had a great time there in June and I'm going to have a great time next week," Cotto said. we will see, one thing for sure if Shane stuns Cotto he will finish him or at least put enough hurt on his body , to where he wont be so long in the tooth in the later rounds. I pick cotto to win but its not solid, because its only based Mosely age at 36 and the fact that Mosely really only wants to fight Floyd.
