Hoping Cotto can get out of his funk with a new trainer.

NOT so sure if it was a good decision.... Manny has been dumped by most of his last fighters & BY GOOD REASON: Cintron, Taylor, and maybe a couple more lately... besides Klitschko, I haven't seen anybody that has done better with him, maybe I'm wrong, if you can think of a good ex. plz let me know.... I think he does a lot better as a commentator...

actually he wasn't dumped by cintron, he dumped cintron.

according to steward AND cintrons old coach who sometimes posts on ESB, cintron is a waste of time, he quits in the middle of sparring because his 'hands hurt', he cuts his workout in half because he has to be in other places, he doesn't like sparring partners going rough on him.

im not a huge manny steward fan, but in my opinion......i dont think it was that bad of an idea. anything is better than santiago at this point. he needs some one to push him to the limit, to add some intensity and manny has the mind set, experience and balls to tell cotto how it is going to be! who knows....maybe it will be like a new beginning. we'll see come june!
